After another successful year of chamber music concerts we are already looking forward to our next programme of events. We are hosting an exciting line-up including familiar faces, as well as some new to Kettle’s Yard.

We are delighted to announce that the 2017-2018 series will open on the 12 October 2017 with a concert by cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason.

In May 2016, Sheku won the BBC Young Musician competition, performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at London’s Barbican Hall. He began learning the cello aged six with Sarah Huson-Whyte, continuing his studies with Ben Davies at the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music. He begins his undergraduate studies as a full-time student of the Royal Academy of Music in September 2017.

Our Autumn/Michaelmas term will continue in the Old Divinity School of St. John’s College before we return to Kettle’s Yard for the Spring term.
