After another successful year of chamber music concerts we are already looking forward to our next programme of events. We will be hosting an exciting line-up including familiar faces, as well as some new to Kettle’s Yard.
We are delighted to announce that the 2017-2018 series will open on the 12 October 2017 with a concert by cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
In May 2016, Sheku won the BBC Young Musician competition, performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 with the BBC Symphony Orchestra at London’s Barbican Hall. He began learning the cello aged six with Sarah Huson-Whyte, continuing his studies with Ben Davies at the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music. He begins his undergraduate studies as a full-time student of the Royal Academy of Music in September 2017.
Our Autumn/Michaelmas term will continue in the Old Divinity School of St. John’s College before we return to Kettle’s Yard next year.
Tickets will be available this Summer. To be the first to know sign up to our e-news here.
