It has been another busy month on the building site. In July the patina was completed to all of the windows on the Castle Street frontage. The frontage was also prepared for the installation of new signage that will go up later this year. Inside, IT cabinets and cabling were installed in preparation for our reoccupation of the building. Work continues for our reopening shows and new publications of programme details.
Following a tender exercise we are interviewing for a partner to provide catering in our new café in August. We have commissioned joinery for the front of house areas and we also have a landscape architect looking at the gardens.
Our new Facilities and Security Manager and Visitor Services Manager are both in post, and becoming familiar with Kettle’s Yard. We would also like to welcome our Retail Manager and we can’t wait to see what she does with our new shop space.
This month, all of our staff were given a tour of the site and we are now even more excited to move in. We’re expanding our team further now, with three new job opportunities. We are currently taking applications for a Curatorial Assistant, a Venue Hire and Events Coordinator and an Assistant to the Director. Visit our Jobs and Employment page for further details.
