Find out What’s On at Kettle’s Yard here.
“I love doing voluntary work for Kettle’s Yard which adds so much to my life, I feel it’s a small way in which I can pay something back. My experience as a volunteer shows it’s possible to do specific tasks, perhaps using experience or skills gained elsewhere in life, or more general tasks: all of which lead to a greater engagement with Kettle’s Yard – and are a lot of fun too!”
Since opening, we have had a lot of interest from people who would like to volunteer at Kettle’s Yard. We are delighted that so many people want to get involved but at the moment we are unable to to process any new expressions of interest from people inquiring about volunteering.
If you do want to give your time or get involved in the cultural landscape of Cambridge we recommend that you reach out to the University of Cambridge Museums or The Museum of Cambridge to hear about their opportunities.
Does Kettle’s Yard offer internships or placements?
We are not currently recruiting for any interns and nor do we have any placement opportunities. Paid internships and employment are advertised on our Jobs page.
Whatever your experience, there are opportunities for you to get involved with and support the museums. The University of Cambridge museums offer a limited number of work experience placements, internships, apprenticeships and volunteer opportunities. Visit their Get Involved pages to see what opportunities are available.
The University of Cambridge Museums truly appreciates the time given by people filling these roles as they contribute to the meaningful delivery of the museums’ aims and objectives.
