artcrowd
Are you interested in modern and contemporary art in and around Cambridge? Do you find it difficult to make time to visit the galleries and exhibitions? If so, you should get in touch with the artcrowd. The events they organise take place in the evenings or at weekends. They are reasonably priced, well structured yet informal and there is usually the chance to share ideas and impressions with like-minded people over a glass of wine at the end of the day. Joining the email list will ensure that you are kept up to date with the latest offerings.
past events and activities have included:
- The Kettle's Yard party - Jazz, strawberries and wine, and a private view of the exhibition.
- Visits to artists' studios - A chance to meet artists in their studios and chat informally to them. (In the last year we have visited Eric Marland, Marion Coutts and Hephzibah Rendle-Short).
- Tours - A tour of children's author Lucy Boston's magical Hemingford Manor and picnic in the garden.
- Last Chance to See - A series of free evening openings of Kettle's Yard exhibitions, mixing artist's talks, music, drinks and snacks.
