Our adult programme of events and practical workshops creates a platform to investigate artists’ practice inspired by the collection and exhibitions.
The Practice Sessions
The Practice Sessions are informal evenings of art-making and bite-sized tours and talks for adults, each month offering a different combination of artforms and ideas for you to sample over a drink.
29th November, 6-8pm
This month join us for an evening of talks and workshops inspired by the Victor Skipp exhibition. Discover Skipp’s fascination with art and philosophy and learn about the eclectic display of his collection. Then get creative in a collaborative drawing workshop with artist Hilary Moreton, taking inspiration from Skipp’s use of pattern, shape and geometry in his home.
24th January, 6-8pm
A celebration of the house reopening in full. Join us for talks about the collection, music and an exploration of Helen Ede's place in the house.
£5 per session, pay on the door.
No need to book in advance, admission includes one free drink.
