Temporary residence

Artists will be taking over the gallery at Kettle’s Yard – come and see what emerges and take one of the many opportunities to meet the artists and get more involved. We have invited two artist-led spaces from the East of England to take up temporary residence in the gallery. Aid & Abet from Cambridge, and Outpost from Norwich, will bring together artists from their networks to exhibit work, perform and take part in a programme of events.

AID & ABET was founded in 2009 by artists Sarah Evans, David Kefford and CJ Mahony. Currently occupying a large warehouse near the railway station in Cambridge, Aid & Abet provides artists with opportunities to innovate, collaborate and engage in critical discourse. Their project at Kettle’s Yard looks at transitions and thresholds as a way of exploring the dynamic relationships between artists and institutions.
