Open studio for students studying a creative subject at GCSE or A-Level. Work with a professional artist and develop your exam portfolio.

Join artist Sarah Evans to develop your drawing practise and strengthen your ideas and skills for developing your portfolio for GCSE, A-Level, Foundation courses or Degree.

We will also be joined by Chris Draper, Head of Illustration and member of the admission team at Anglia Ruskin University, and Rosalind Harrison, Sector Leader for Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, Cambridge Regional College. They will give two short talks on Foundation courses and degree course and spend time with you to help shape your portfolio for successful submission.

About Chris Draper

With over 20 years of successful freelance practice and involvement in higher education, Chris’s work has been printed and exhibited both nationally and internationally. He leads ARU’s BA (Hons) Illustration course at Cambridge School of Art.  Working for a variety of high-profile clients on a variety of projects from editorial, book publishing and advertising, Chris’s breadth of professional experience informs his educational practice. Chris is also currently External Examiner at Camberwell for MA Illustration and MA Designer Maker, and the University of Worcester for BA (Hons) Illustration.
