Art and activities for relaxation in a former bakery in North Cambridge

Kettle’s Yard and Emma Smith invite you to Variations on a Weekend Theme, an art apothecary where you can come in and discover tips and remedies to help you feel good. The exhibition will include works from the Kettle’s Yard collection selected by the artist.

Emma Smith is the first Kettle’s Yard Open House artist in residence. Emma has taken inspiration from Kettle’s Yard’s founder Jim Ede, who wanted to create a space in which people could feel relaxed and restored. Emma is collecting tips and remedies for feeling better from the community in North Cambridge and will be sharing the advice at this three day event in a transformed former bakery.

Everyone welcome, all activities are free and free refreshments will be available.

Follow Emma’s research, ideas, and activity in the development of her new artwork here.

Over the weekend free, fun activities for all ages will be taking place nearby at 82 Akeman Street. All activities are drop-in, we hope you can join us.
