This symposium explores the theme of dematerialisation through science and philosophy, architecture, photography and music. Speakers include William Curtis (lately Slade Professor of Fine Art, University of Cambridge ), Ian Jeffrey (Historian of photography and critic), Simon Schaffer (Reader in the History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge ), Aya Soika (Lecturer in the History of Art, University of Cambridge ), David Ryan (Artist, musician and writer, Senior Lecturer in Art History and Theory at Chelsea School of Art).
Tickets £35 (£30 Friends/unwaged) including lunch and refreshments.
Students £20 (£5 without lunch).
