Marion Kalmus

Restoration Drama

perfidy - exhibition image at the Festival Theatre, Newmarket Road, Cambridge
November 15 - 26 2000, open every day 10.00-18.00, free.

The Festival Theatre, one of the finest Georgian playhouses in the country, is sadly now out of use as a theatre. The artist Marion Kalmus, Kettle's Yard/Pembroke College Artist Fellow in 1997-98, returns to Cambridge to create a sound and projection piece which richly evokes the absent performance and absent audience.

Commissioned by Commissions East and Kettle's Yard, by kind permission of the Cambridge Buddhist Centre, supported by the Regional Arts Lottery Programme.
