A new Plan for Kettle's Yard
A message from Director, Andrew Nairne
about the new plans for Kettle's Yard.

Exhibitions
Kettle's Yard Gallery is a landmark centre for modern and contemporary art. Built in 1970, it was designed by architects Sir Leslie Martin and David Owers. It has since been extended three times, most recently in 1993-94. We are currently preparing to extend again, during the this period we will not show major exhibitions as the main gallery space will be partially closed.
The gallery shop and facilities will remain open, and we will present a series of small 'Artist in Focus' displays from our collection in the entry gallery. We began with Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, followed by Alfred Wallis and Winifred Nicolson, next will be Christopher Wood. Four Associate Artists have been appointed to work with us throughout this period. They are: Matei Bejenaru, Matthew Darbyshire, Lorna Macintyre and Jeremy Millar. There will be opportunites to find out more about them and their work onsite and online in the coming months.
