We are very sad to have had to cancel the remaining concerts in our Chamber Music series and our New Music series. We hope that you can enjoy some music resources from home. We look forward to welcoming you back to Kettle’s Yard music soon.
We’ve drawn together a Spotify playlist of ‘Music-in-Lieu’ for each of the cancelled Chamber Music concerts, comprising recordings by the same artists or of the same pieces from their programmes, plus a few extras that we think you’ll enjoy.
New Music Curator Tom McKinney has been in contact with the musicians whose concerts couldn’t take place, and we’re pleased to share with you some films and music from them.
Music has always been played at Kettle’s Yard. There are two pianos in the House at Kettle’s Yard and when it was a home to Jim and Helen Ede they used to hold small concerts.
Find out about our upcoming concerts and book tickets, here.
For regular updates about the concert series please sign up to receive our emails.
Our ticket prices are kept low thanks to the endowment left by our founder Jim Ede for Kettle’s Yard Thursday Evening Chamber Music Series. However this only supports a small part of our programme and we need your help to continue to support emerging artists and composers, and continue to provide world class performances as part of the Music at Kettle’s Yard programme.

Justin Lee is the programmer for the chamber music series. If you have a concert proposal please send it to email@example.com with Justin Lee in the subject line and we will forward the proposal on.
Please note that we programme quite far ahead of time and we receive a large number of proposals so we are not always able to respond to submissions.
