14 August 2018

We are delighted to announce our full chamber music concert series for the 2018/2019 terms. We are hosting another exciting line-up including familiar faces, as well as some new to Kettle’s Yard. This will be the first full year back in the House at Kettle’s Yard following our reopening in February 2018.

Last year the subscription tickets sold out fast. We recommend booking now if you would like to save over £90 over the year.

Individual tickets are also available to purchase online now. To view our full programme and to book tickets, click here.

This season’s artists in residence are the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective. The group, co-founded in 2017 by pianist Tom Poster and violinist Elena Urioste, are committed to showcasing a diverse mix of talented artists and composers. They will join us on three occasions this year and we hope that you will enjoy the first opportunities to hear them play together at Kettle’s Yard.

We are also excited to welcome the award-winning Sacconi Quartet to our first concert back to the House this Autumn. They are, according to Musical Opinion, “An exceptional ensemble…a unanimous sense of musical breath and a meticulous attention to detail.” Book a ticket now to this first concert before it’s too late!

Our Chamber Music Concert Programmer, Justin Lee, says “Renewed vitality has swept through Kettle’s Yard since it reopened with its wonderful new spaces in February 2018. The music programme keeps tempo with a diverse and exciting season of fifteen chamber recitals to enjoy in this much-loved venue. I hope you will join me for another memorable season in this very special place.”

This Autumn/Michaelmas term we are looking forward to welcoming the following:

11 October – Sacconi Quartet
18 October – Jean-Sélim Abdelmoula, piano
25 October –Isimsiz Trio
8 November – Schubert Ensemble Strings
29 November – Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective
6 December – Britten Oboe Quartet

Some of you may remember our free Friday concerts, programmed and performed by students. These much-loved student concerts will return to the House at Kettle’s Yard this year. To be the first to hear about all music news sign up to our e-news here.
