We have an exciting array of off site exhibitions and displays coming up in 2016. In Cambridge don’t miss the second of our displays at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Being Modern from 8 April, exploring works by 20th century artists represented in both collections including William Scott, Roger Hilton and William Staite Murray.

From 21 May an exhibition of key works from Kettle’s Yard will go on display within the context of the Hepworth Wakefield’s collection, drawing parallels between these two modern British collections. After 6 months, the artist Anthea Hamilton will reinstall the display alongside a number of her own works inspired by the collaboration.

Later in the year we’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the gift of Kettle’s Yard to the University of Cambridge. You can expect to see pop up collection displays across the city. More details will be announced soon!

In 2016 works from our collection are also on loan in Pure Romance: Art and the Romantic Sensibility at Redfern Gallery, David Jones Vision and Memory and Barbara Hepworth: Sculpture for a Modern World.
