17 December 2020

Can you help us mark 50 years of music at Kettle’s Yard?

2020 marks 50 years of music at Kettle’s Yard. This momentous occasion deserves a fanfare but sadly circumstances have meant that this has not been possible. Our wonderful Gala concert has been postponed until 2022. However, in this of all years, we want to mark this anniversary and find a way to capture the special marriage of art and music that our beloved venue allows.

We can’t do this in the House but what if we could bring it to you at home?

We are delighted that The Maxwell Quartet have agreed to film an ‘in camera’ performance in the House which will be premiered online at a special event on Thursday 28th January at 7pm.

Many of us will remember The Maxwell Quartet for their delightful performance in 2019. Their uplifting style and cheerful zest will blend perfectly with the work of our professional cinematographer to conjure for you the sense of joy we all experience when listening to music in Kettle’s Yard.

I am writing to you as our loyal and enthusiastic audience members to ask if you can help us by making a donation to support this film. All donations large and small will make a difference. As a special thank you we will include the names of all supporters in the credits for the film, unless you would prefer to be anonymous.

Donate now and help us to celebrate 50 years of music at Kettle’s Yard.

Thank you

Deborah Carnwath
Music Programmer
