About the workshop

Taking inspiration from her native Senegal where basket-weaving is a craft passed down from generation to generation in rural villages, join Tabara N’Diaye for this interactive workshop in which you will learn how to weave a gorgeous mini-basket using the coiling technique achieved by wrapping raffia paper with a needle around the core material – a bundle of seagrass.

The number of participants is restricted to a small group to ensure all students have ample time to get individual feedback. You will need access to a laptop/tablet with a camera and microphone.

This class is open to beginners and available with materials or without materials

Participants will receive at 10% discount voucher for the Kettle’s Yard online shop after the workshop, valid for one order.

Please note booking for tickets with materials closes on Monday 26 April, to allow time for postage.
