Castle Hill Open Day, Saturday 13 July 2019

Come and explore one of the oldest and most vibrant areas of Cambridge as venues on Castle Hill open their doors for the day.

Historians, local experts, artists, musicians and dancers will come together to provide a variety of free, drop-in events for all ages. Pack a picnic or visit the food stalls and make a day of it (whatever the weather)!

Save the date for Castle Hill Open Day 2019.

See our photo album of activity from Castle Hill Open Day 2018 here.

St Luke’s School Choir will open the day, Colours of Dance will be joining us for a performance, find out more about the history of the pubs in the area, discover where Cambridge really began and hear about the Churches Conservation Trust and how they make a difference in their communities.

Full programme

Please note that bookable events can only be booked on the day, from 12 noon at the Meeting Point. The Meeting Point is located just outside St Giles’ Church on Castle Street, right across the road from Kettle’s Yard. There is a maximum number of two slots available per person for bookable events.
