Free Artist Led Workshop for 15-25s

Come and explore Wysing Art Centre’s site and their current exhibition, The Practice of Theories, in these artist led workshops, Interfaces.

We’ll be using different ‘interfaces’ or tools including go-pros, probing cameras, pin hole cameras, 3D scanners, and metal detectors to explore Wysing and make artwork from the imagery we collect.

Explore different ways of looking and different ways of displaying artwork. The workshops involve opportunities to make your own camera or interface, and to create a lot of artwork (including painting, collaging and sculpting) which can be taken away with you.

The workshops are led by artist Takeshi Shiomitso, and our young people’s group Circuit Cambridge, and are for young people aged 15-25. You don’t need any previous experience – so if you’re interested in getting creative, working with an artist or you would just like to meet new people come along.

You can come on the 12th or 13th or both days. The workshops are free but booking is essential. Please bring along a packed lunch.
