House: Tuesday – Sunday 12  – 5pm

Free, timed entry tickets to the House are available at the information desk on arrival or online here.

Last entry to the House is at 4.30pm

Discover your local art gallery with a day of mini programme highlights at Kettle’s Yard.

Join us for introductory tours of the House and exhibitions, including some audio described tours,  others translated into British Sign Language, short talks on the Homelands exhibitions and the Jim and India display. Have a go with a variety of hands-on art making workshops for all ages throughout the day.

There will be audio described tours at 10.45am and 2pm.
There will also be BSL interpreted tours at 11.15am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
Finally, there will be a BSL interpreted hands-on workshop at 12.15pm.

Individuals, families or community groups are all welcome.

Access

The House is not fully accessible and includes a spiral staircase in the cottage as well as several other stepped levels. The extension to the House is fully accessible. Please let us know if you have specific access requirements by calling 01223 748100 or emailing mail@kettlesyard.cam.ac.uk and we will accommodate you.

The galleries, Education Wing, Ede Room and Research Space are all fully accessible. There is a ramp from the entrance area to the ground floor galleries. There is an accessible toilet located on the ground floor, just in front of the lift. The lift goes to all floors.

There will be talks in British Sign Language and an audio described tour on the day.
