Artist Isabella Martin has been working with local residents to explore the area and create a new map that shows what is unique about North Cambridge. Come along to celebrate the project and print your own map.
On display there will be artworks from Kettle’s Yard, local residents and community groups. These include: Cambridge Community Arts, Chesterton Camera Club, Cambridge Manor Care Home, King’s Hedges Crochet Ladies, Orchard Park Wildlife Project, Akeman Street residents, Kettle Club and Grovebury Ladies.
Create your own silk screen print of the new neighbourhood map. Enjoy artwork made by people in North Cambridge over tea and cake. Join in with King’s Hedges Crochet Ladies from 2–4pm on Friday.
View artworks by Ben Nicholson and Alfred Wallis from the Kettle’s Yard Collection and explore old maps of the neighbourhood.
This November keep an eye out for more artworks from the project displayed in community centres and out and about in the neighbourhood!
