The Friends of Kettle’s Yard invite you to A Cambridge Home.
Join art historian and curator Matt Retallick for this online talk and discover a unique collection of modern British art in Cambridge. This is an exclusive chance to see works from an impressive private collection in an intimate domestic setting, as documented on the Instagram page a_cambridge_home.
Focussing on links to Cornwall, the talk will feature artists including Peter Lanyon, Alfred Wallis, Karl Weschke, Ben Nicholson, Margaret Mellis, Breon O’Casey, Barbara Hepworth, Patrick Heron, Adrian Stokes, Denis Mitchell and Bernard Leach.

Matt Retallick is an art historian and curator based in Liverpool. Originally from Cornwall, he is currently studying at Manchester School of Art for a PhD on the painter Karl Weschke. His recent projects include ‘Irish Modernisms’ at CCA Derry/Londonderry, and ‘Liam Fallon: Supersymmetry’ at The Turnpike in Leigh, Manchester. He is Associate Curator of PINK, Manchester, and honorary lifetime member of The Modernist Society.
