7 December 2019, 2 – 5pm

Join multidisciplinary artist Lora Avedian for a half-day Christmas workshop. In preparation for the festive season, you will learn how to create your own unique paper wreaths using paper leaf shapes designed by Lora.

Lora will demonstrate how to manipulate the pre-cut paper leaves to make them 3D and how to create texture and pattern on the leaves with paint to create a beautiful and durable alternative to the traditional wreath that can be used year after year.

You will make an original handmade paper wreath to take away on the day to decorate your home for Christmas.

Tickets are £95 per person or £160 for two tickets, booking required

Ticket includes:

  • All materials
  • Refreshments

Please note that if paint goes on clothes it won’t wash off, so make sure to dress accordingly.

About the tutor

Lora Avedian graduated with a masters in Mixed Media Textiles from the Royal College of Art in 2017, and works in a variety of mediums, primarily textile and paper. Lora uses traditional embroidery and embellishment techniques to make modern artefacts and favours slow processes, focusing on short run and bespoke projects. Lora sells her work through The New Craftsmen in London.
