Why have a poster on your wall when you can have a real work of art?
Ever since Kettle’s Yard was created, students have been borrowing works of art from the collection. At the beginning of every academic year, we invite students at Anglia Ruskin and Cambridge University to borrow pictures, giving them a bit of Kettle’s Yard to take home with them.
Students can borrow a painting, drawing or print from the student loan collection on a first come, first served basis.
After pausing the scheme during the pandemic, we will be running the Student Picture Loan Scheme once again for the 2021-2022 academic year.
This year, in order to maintain social distancing, students are required to sign up for a timed slot in order to come and select a picture (1 per person).
Please note that booking a slot does not reserve a particular picture. Pictures will still be selected in person on a first come first served basis.
Please book one timed entry slot only.
We are delighted to announce that through the support of Emma Davis, we have 25 Bursaries to make the Kettle’s Yard Student Loan Scheme available to students who are unable to pay the fee. To be eligible for this bursary you must be in receipt of either a Cambridge Bursary or a College Hardship Grant. Bursaries will be available on a first come first serve basis. To apply for the bursary, please email Eliza Spindel (firstname.lastname@example.org) with evidence that you are in receipt of a University/College bursary or hardship support, or for more information. Bursaries are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
